History
LaplandUK was conceived in 2006 when husband and wife team
Mike and Alison Battle developed the original and innovative idea of recreating Father Christmas' mythical Arctic homeland here in the UK.

Born out of their personal frustration at the lack of quality, magical Christmas experiences on offer to their own children in the UK, together with an awareness of their own and society's wish to make more environmentally responsible choices, the couple set about creating their dream of bringing a Lapland inspired Christmas experience to families here in the UK.

Now in its fifth year, LaplandUK has entranced and captivated thousands of young children receiving national and international acclaim and celebrity patronage for its unique and truly authentic Christmas experience.

We are delighted to have been recognised for our innovative twist on a traditional idea by receiving Kent's 2008 Business Innovation Award.

Philosophy
We believe in the wonderment of childhood and in creating magical memories that families will treasure for a lifetime while acting responsibly for the future well being of our fragile planet.
