1. Use and access to this website are subject to the terms set out below and by entering the site you accept that you are bound by the terms herein. The terms can be amended by Lapland UK at its discretion.

2. The content on the site is for informational purposes and does not constitute advice. Lapland UK does not make any warranty or representation as to the accuracy of the information on the website or that the information or technical functions are error free or free of viruses or are compatible with any particular software or hardware.

3. Lapland UK, its directors and employees or agents will not be liable for any loss arising out of the use of this website and applies to damage of any kind, including (but not limited to) consequential loss and claims by third parties. All liability of Lapland is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law as to any inaccuracies, errors or otherwise.

4. All content (including but not limited to logos, photographic imagery, text) in this website are subject to intellectual property rights owned by Lapland UK or third parties and cannot be used or copied other than in accordance with the terms herein without the written permission of Lapland UK.

5. In making a booking you will be required to provide specified personal information. We may have to pass on these details so that your booking can be made and for the purposes of your visit to Lapland UK. If you do not wish your details to be used for the other purposes such as direct marketing please email Lapland UK.

6. The website contains links to other websites for informational purposes. Lapland UK is not responsible for any claims or information on these linked websites.


Lapland UK Terms and Conditions

1. By making a booking with Lapland UK you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions and have read and agree to the use of your information as set out herein.

2. Once your "flight" date and time is booked, the booking is non-changeable and non refundable. Payments for bookings are non refundable and bookings may only be changed or replaced at the absolute discretion of Lapland UK.

3. A booking reservation may not be resold to a third party. All reservations are non transferable due to the personalised nature of each family's private audience with Father Christmas.

4. Lapland UK will immediately issue email confirmation upon booking online or provide you with a booking reference number (telephone bookings). N.B. Please retain all Lapland UK documentation (print email) for proof of purchase at time of visit.

5. Lapland UK is ticketless -to gain access to Lapland UK one member of the visiting party must provide the booking number/reference number together with proof of purchase /identification (see below for details) at the Lapland UK boarding gate on day of visit.

Lapland UK reserves the right to ask security questions to establish proof of identity.
IMPORTANT- Failure to produce the correct documentation will result in non admittance without refund of your prepaid booking.

6. Lapland UK accepts no responsibility for time lost at Lapland UK.

7. Lapland UK reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to refuse entry or remove from Lapland UK any persons who in the opinion of Lapland UK, is likely to affect the safety or enjoyment of the other visitors.

8. Save as otherwise permitted by Lapland UK, all persons visiting Lapland UK must pay admission. Tickets are required for admission; a coloured tariff band will be issued to be retained and displayed at all times if inspection is required by any employee of LUK.

9. Mixed family/friendship groups can only be admitted to the Father Christmas House together with proof of separate family ticketing (up to a maximum of eight persons). Booking two separate families as one will result in the depreciation of the Lapland UK experience.

10. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas of LUK site.

11. Pets or animals of any nature are expressly prohibited at LUK (except for guide dogs and hearing dogs).Visitors accompanied by an animal will be refused entry without refund of their prepaid ticket.

12. Booked visitors will not be admitted ("allowed to fly") to LUK before their designated departure time. Thereafter booked visitors will be admitted up to a maximum of 30 minutes after their stated departure time. Admission thereafter is at the strict discretion of LUK and may result in non admittance due to customer numbers or otherwise.

13. Ticket price includes tokens for specific activities (gingerbread, toy factory etc) and merchandise. These tokens are for the sole use of the ticket holder while at LUK and not transferable, or interchangeable.

14. LUK tokens are purely a management tool; they carry no intrinsic value or obligation for Lapland UK to fulfil a service.

15. LUK does not accept any liability if a customer has not exercised their tokens, due to a customer being late or for any other reason including the inability of LUK to fulfil tokens despite best intensions and if not used in the allotted time cannot be redeemed in value or realised at a later date.

16. Timing of the personal appointment with Father Christmas is not changeable unless agreed by LUK. Time is of the essence at the appointed time.

17. Failure to attend your family’s audience with Father Christmas at the allotted time will result in non admittance to Father Christmas; this is due to the strict scheduling of the day and enjoyment of other paying customers. LUK accepts no responsibility for missed Father Christmas appointments or warranty to provide this service at a later date.

18. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult, aged 18 years or over and shall remain under the control or supervision of an adult at all times.

19. Lapland UK will use reasonable endeavour to ensure that the event is open for visitors during normal opening hours. However, LUK reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, whether for safety reasons or otherwise, and with or without prior notice, to close the site or any part of it. In the event of such closure, LUK will refund to any visitor whose visit is cancelled, the cost of his or her prepaid ticket, but otherwise shall have no liability whatever, including no liability for the families travel expenses or any other out of pocket expenses, in respect of closure of part or all of LUK.

20. Other than liability for death or personal injury resulting from Lapland UK's negligence, or Lapland UK’s employees, Lapland UK shall not be liable for any loss or damage, direct or indirect, including without limitation any distress, inconvenience or anxiety caused during the course of any visit.

21. Lapland UK or other authorised parties may carry out photography and/or video recording and/or other monitoring on or nearby the Lapland UK site, which may feature visitors. By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that Lapland UK or any authorised party may use such images in perpetuity in any promotional, advertising or publicity material in any format whatsoever. You further agree that copyright in these materials rests with Lapland UK or such authorised party (as the case may be).

22. Non professional photography is allowed on site (exception of outside and in Father Christmas’s House) but all materials are strictly for personal or non-commercial use. Unauthorised professional use of any photographic/video material will constitute an infringement of the Lapland UK’s intellectual property rights, constitute a criminal offence and will give rise to a claim for damages.

23. Any typographical error or other clerical error or omission in any booking confirmation or other documentation issued by LUK (including any electronic documentation) shall be subject to correction without any liability on the part of LUK.

22. LUK reserves the right to make changes to the Event and Activities without notification, whether to conform to any applicable safety or other statutory requirements or otherwise.

23. LUK will not be liable in any way, if your daytrip is cancelled or interrupted due to war, threat of war, industrial dispute, riots, civil strive, political unrest industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disasters, fire or adverse weather conditions, epidemics, theft, quarantine, medical or customs regulations, technical and administrative problems with transport, breakdown with machinery and equipment, water shortages or other unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond Lapland UK’s control which could not have been avoided.

24. These terms and conditions are governed and in accordance with English Law.


Complaints

LUK accepts that, despite every effort being made to ensure you have a trouble free, enjoyable family experience; things may occasionally go wrong. If you have a complaint you must inform Lapland UK’s staff immediately. They will attempt to resolve the problem as soon as possible. If however an acceptable solution is not found and you wish to take the matter public, please e mail the LUK offices detailing in full the nature of the complaint, within 7 days of your daytrip. This will allow LUK to investigate your complaint fully (info@laplanduk.co.uk ).
