We would like to thank all our visitors, big and especially small, who helped make the opening year of Lapland UK such a great success.

We were delighted by the tremendous response to our simple idea of creating an enchanting Lapland Christmas experience here in the UK, thus avoiding those nasty carbon flight emissions.

We have carried out a thorough debrief of our inaugural event and listened to feedback from you, our valued customers. The overriding message received from the public was to expand and develop the idea further whilst retaining the charm and enchantment of 2007.

We love your passion for the Lapland UK concept and are excited about our plans for 2008. This year, as well as more fantasy, more "snow", more reindeer and more huskies, we are also thrilled to introduce an Ice Rink for all to enjoy.

Additionally, in response to customer feedback, a freshly prepared and cooked hot meal in our new seated log cabin restaurant is now included in the ticket price, along with all the activities and gifts for all.

From the moment your child's personalised invitation arrives in the post, until you say your fond farewells to Father Christmas, the Lapland UK experience will create Christmas memories for families to cherish.
